Spiritus Systems LV-119 Plate Carrier

The Spiritus Systems LV-119 is a scalable plate carrier that can be configured for multiple environments, ranging from low visibility to direct action. Choose the modular pieces that work together to give you the vest you need for your current mission. 

The LV-119 system allows users to mix and match cummerbunds, back panels, and other parts to create their perfect plate carrier. 

The front bag features a 3 Row / 4 Column MOLLE field that doubles as a 6” x 3” loop field. This may be used to attach End User Devices (EUDs), such as those made by KAGWERKS or Juggernaut Defense. The loop field may be used to mount placards, patches, and IR identifiers. The MOLLE can also be used to mount administrative pouches, frag grenade pouches, or anything else users may require quick need access to. 

Placard and Chest Rig Integration

All LV/119 Plate Bags offer placard and chest rig integration via removable 1 Inch ITW NEXUS Buckles. These clips are removable, allowing users to reduce the signature of the plate bag if it is being worn under a cover shirt or being utilized in a low-profile role.

Push To Talk Support

Each front plate bag comes standard with a PTT/Porkchop Loop on either side. 

Communication Cable Routing

The LV-119 offers open shoulders to facilitate commo cable routing inside the plate bags and over the shoulders. It also offers small routing points by the 1 Inch ITW NEXUS buckles on the chest - easily accommodating PTT cable routing.

Back Panel Support

The rear of the LV-119 features minimal MOLLE webbing and zippers for integrations with the removable  Assault Back Panel Core and the MOLLE Back Panel zip-on panels. NOTE: Only back panels from Spiritus Systems will integrate with this plate carrier. Other brands of zip-on panels will not work with this the LV-119. 

Cummerbund Attachment

The cummerbund attachment is a proprietary system that allows a wide range of adjustment with any one of the Spiritus Systems cummerbunds. Whichever you choose, the cummerbund attaches inside the plate bag, which creates several advantages:

1. There is no external mounting that can get snagged or ripped off when exiting vehicles in haste.
2. The design creates a smooth profile when worn underneath clothing.
3. Hook & loop is not utilized as an attachment to the rear plate bag. Hook & loop wears out over time and is a generally less-than-optimal attachment method when not supported in other ways. Hook & loop doesn't handle weight well and it sticks to everything, especially cloth seats.
4. Every front plate bag comes standard with sewn loops on the sides for attaching First Spear TUBES™ for use with the First Spear TUBES™ Cummerbund.

Cummerbund Sizing

The cummerbund comes in two sizes: Size 1 and Size 2, each offering up to 14 inches of total adjustment. This allows for a proper fitment for all body types. 

Size 1: 28" to 42" 

Size 2: 40" to 54"

To figure your appropriate sizing, take measurement of the waist at the belly button. When measuring, users should dress as they would while actually wearing the carrier. For example, if the user is operating in arctic environments, they should be wearing cold weather equipment when measuring. 

Plate Fitment

The carrier was designed to fit United States Standard Issue SAPI cut plates, but it will fit other cuts as well as long as they fit within the specifications listed below. The carrier is designed to accommodate "thicker" plates but it will not fit plates that fall outside the measurements listed. 

Medium - 9.5" x 12.5" 

Large - 10" x 13.25" 

Extra Large- 11" x 14.00"

Thickness - MAXIMUM of 1.20"
